A note from founders

Hospitality is one of the oldest and most human industries in the world. Yet the software running it hasn't changed in decades — fragmented tools, manual processes, and endless admin that pulls operators away from the thing they actually care about: their guests.

We started Zavo in 2022 with a simple belief, that technology should do the hard work, so people don't have to. What began as a vision to improve in-person payments quickly became something much bigger. The more time we spent inside restaurants, the more we saw an industry ready for a fundamental shift. Not just better tools, but genuine automation. Not just connected systems - but an intelligent platform that thinks, acts, and runs entire operations on behalf of the people who built them.

Agentic AI has made that possible. For the first time, the routine work of running a restaurant, taking reservations, reconciling payments, analysing performance, bringing guests back, can be handled automatically, intelligently, and without lifting a finger.

Zavo is not a POS company. We are not a reservation company. We are building an operating system and automation platform with one goal — to save restaurants time and money, so the people who run them can focus on what they do best.
